I'VE IMPROVED SINCE JOINING CHELSEA - HAZARD

The Belgian superstar has been one of the Premier League's standout players since arriving at Stamford Bridge in 2012 from Lille.

Hazard joined Chelsea from Lille for £32m
The 24-year-old has been named in the PFA Team of the Year in both his season's in England and was named PFA Young Player of the Year last season.

On Thursday, Hazard signed a new £200,000-a-week, five-and-a-half year deal to remain at Chelsea until 2020.

And Hazard claims playing alongside the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa and Oscar and working under Jose Mourinho have pushed him on.

"I've gained experience from playing with big names, playing matches at the highest level every weekend. I think that's helped me a lot," he told Telefoot.

"Apart from my last season in France I was always reproached for not being clinical enough, a good player but not clinical. Progressively I've taken that on board and I've often managed to be clinical in the big games.

"I'm continuing to improve. I'm only 24 and I've done some pretty good things in football already. So I hope it continues like this, that we'll win trophies this year and again next year. We'll be able to get better every season."

Hazard was Chelsea's key player last season when Mourinho returned to the club.
But he believes the Blues' dominance this season is due to them no longer being reliant on him.

"I can help (Chelsea) with my qualities, like I showed against Arsenal," he added.

"It was a very close game. I got the ball, got fouled and it was a penalty. If I could do it every game that would be good.

"But there's not just me, we have players like Fabregas, who has done us an enormous amount of good, Diego can score at any time.

"I wouldn't say I was the only one last season, because that would be lacking respect towards others, but it was more down to me whereas now it's more varied and it comes from me, from a Cesc pass, Willian or Oscar."
