Wigan Athletic have signed Liverpool midfielder Sheyi Ojo on-loan till tyhe end of the season.
Ojo has been described as a top talent
Ojo becomes Latics’ fifth signing this month following the arrivals ofLiam Ridgewell, Chris Herd, Billy Mckay and Jason Pearce and manager Malky Mackay says he is delighted with the capture of an exciting young player:
“I spoke to Brendan Rodgers at length about Sheyi”, he said, “and we both agreed that this is the next stage of his development. Brendan sees him as a Liverpool player of the future and will take him into his squad in the summer. We both hope that his time at Wigan Athletic can be a productive one for both parties.
“I have watched him and was excited by what I saw in terms of his pace, touch and awareness. Now it’s a question of integrating him with our squad and managing his progress carefully.”

SANCHEZ WILL STAY AT ARSENAL - MERTESACKER

Arsenal captain Per Mertesacker has said Alexis Sanchez is "definitely" staying at the club next season. Sanchez's future remains unclear as he is set to enter the last year of his contract, but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger reiterated on Tuesday that he will not sell the Chile international.
