ARSENAL SIGN KRYSTIAN BIELIK FROM LEGIA WARSAW

Arsenal have completed the signing of Legia Warsaw's 17 year old defensive midfielder for an undisclosed fee.

The youngster had only made his debut for Legia Warsaw in August but had also attracted interest from Bundesliga side, Hamburg SV.

Speaking to Legia Warsaw's official website, Legia Warsaw boss, Henning Berg said Bielik is a talented player who is going to achieve big success in football in the future"

Bielik had said before flying to England:

"I've decided to move to Arsenal and, although i cannot be sure of what's to come in the future, i am going to London to fulfill my dreams.

"i felt at home in Warsaw and i will always have fond memories of the time i spent in Legia. Dominik Ebebenge, the development director, was always a huge help for me and i can't find words to describe my gratitude towards him.

He also thanked his teammates and manager:

"I'm grateful to my teammates and manager Henning Berg for trusting such a young player and giving me a chance to play for the first team. its mostly thanks to him that I'm able to move to Arsenal"

SANCHEZ WILL STAY AT ARSENAL - MERTESACKER

Arsenal captain Per Mertesacker has said Alexis Sanchez is "definitely" staying at the club next season. Sanchez's future remains unclear as he is set to enter the last year of his contract, but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger reiterated on Tuesday that he will not sell the Chile international.
