U23 EAGLES ARRIVES TUNISIA

The National U23 men's football team, the Dream Team VI have arrived Tunis the capital of Tunisia for its International friendly game against their Tunisian counterpart.

The team touched down at the Tunis Carthage Airport at about 12:50pm local time aboard an Emirates Airline were immediately driven to their Mouradi Hotel.

The 36 man delegation made up of 21 players and 15 accompanying officials led by NFF board member, Kachalla Babagana Kalli.

The Samson Siasia tutored team immediately on arrival rested for an hour before heading to the El Menzah Stadium, venue of the historic Nations Cup triumph of the Super Eagles in 1994 for their first feel of the turf.

The game kicks off 2pm on Saturday.

IGHALO SCORES 4 GOALS AS WATFORD TRIUMPH

Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo produced a stunning performance in Watford's colour as he scored four goals as Watford hammered Blackpool 7-2 in an English Championship game on Saturday. SANCHEZ WILL STAY AT ARSENAL - MERTESACKER

Arsenal captain Per Mertesacker has said Alexis Sanchez is "definitely" staying at the club next season. Sanchez's future remains unclear as he is set to enter the last year of his contract, but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger reiterated on Tuesday that he will not sell the Chile international.
